This is a brand that was launched with the desire to add “forest” (rin) to your daily life, in other words, to incorporate wooden products into your life. We sell wooden products made from thinned Yoshino cedar trees, as well as products by local woodworkers.

木製品を利用することは森林の循環にも寄与します。
山を健やかな状態に保つためには、間伐(かんばつ)が不可欠であり、その際に得られる木材を間伐材と言います。
りんプラスで取り扱っている杉・桧の木製品はいずれも間伐材から作られています。皆さんに間伐材をご利用頂くことで、私たちは持続可能な森林の経営をすることができます。
森林には、水源かん養、土砂災害防止、地球温暖化の抑制など、公益的な機能があります。
木製品を利用する中で、少しでもこのような森林の役割について考えていただけたら木こり冥利につきます。

All of the cedar and cypress wooden products sold at Rin Plus are made from thinning material. By having everyone use thinning material, we can manage our forests sustainably.
Forests have public functions such as water source conservation, preventing landslides, and curbing global warming.
As a lumberjack, I would be pleased if you could think, even just a little, about the role of forests when using wooden products.
Handling of Wood Products
木製品の取り扱い
初めてご使用になる前に、乾いた布で軽く拭いてください。
お手入れは、乾拭きで汚れやゴミを落とし、水拭きする場合は固く絞った布で拭いてください。
水洗いや食洗機の使用はお避けください。カビ・変色・割れ・反りの原因となる場合があります。
直射日光の当たる場所、高温多湿の場所、冷暖房器具の近くでの使用・保管はお避けください。

木の香りが気になる場合は、風通しの良い場所で数日間陰干ししてください。
まれに木肌から樹液が染み出す場合もありますが、天然木の個性としてご了承ください。
気になられる場合は、中性洗剤を薄めて布に含ませ、優しく拭き取ってください。その後必ず水分を拭き取ってください。
天然木を使用しておりますので木目や色合いには個体差がございます。
木製品は使用していくほどに色が深まり味わいが増します。

Before first use, wipe gently with a dry cloth.
For maintenance, remove dirt and debris with a dry cloth. If wiping with water, use a tightly wrung cloth.
Avoid washing with water or using a dishwasher. This may cause mold, discoloration, cracking, or warping.
Avoid using or storing in direct sunlight, high-temperature/humid areas, or near heating/cooling appliances.

If the wood scent is bothersome, air dry it in a well-ventilated, shaded area for several days.
Occasionally, sap may seep from the wood grain. Please understand this as a natural characteristic of real wood.
If this bothers you, dilute a neutral detergent, apply it to a cloth, and gently wipe it off. Be sure to wipe away any moisture afterward.
As natural wood is used, grain patterns and color tones may vary from piece to piece.
Wooden products deepen in color and gain character with use over time.
